Privacy
ScrapeCheck is operated by Fieldmode LLC. This page is short because we collect little, and it describes what the software actually does.
There are no accounts. You cannot create one. We hold no usernames, no passwords, and no profiles.
What we record when you use the checker
- The URL you submit.
- The value your page published in its structured data, and the verdict we reached.
- A short excerpt of the page we fetched, kept as the evidence the verdict was based on.
- Timing information for the request.
- A client identifier derived from your IP address, used to count your free checks against the free allowance and to enforce rate limits.
What we do not do with it
We do not sell it, and we do not share one user's submissions or results with another. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
What is public, and what is not
Each verdict has a public record at its own URL. That record contains the identifier, a hash of the signature, and notes about the record. It does not contain the URL you submitted, your claim, or the page excerpt. Someone with a verdict identifier can confirm that we issued it and check their copy against our hash. They cannot learn what was checked.
How long we keep it
Indefinitely. We do not currently prune these records, and we would rather say so than publish a retention period the software does not enforce. If that changes, this page changes with it.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details. Machine payments made over the x402 protocol settle on the Base network to a wallet address we publish; transactions on a public blockchain are public by nature, and we do not control that.
Pages we fetch on your behalf
When you submit a URL we request that page from our own servers. The operator of that page will see a request from our infrastructure, identified as ScrapeCheckBot, not from you.
Deletion
Email sales@fieldmodesolutions.com to ask about records associated with checks you submitted.
